General Information


Samples: Many promotional product samples are free of charge- some restrictions apply.  If there's a certain item you'd like a sample of, just let us know and we'll get one ordered for you.  Shipping charges may apply.


Minimum Order Quantity: Different promotional items have different minimums.  Minimum quantities are listed on product detail pages as well as any price quotes or presentations you receive from Red Canoe Promotions.  Some promotional products can be ordered at "less than minimum" quantities, which sometimes involves a less-than-minimum fee.


Warehouse Locations: Our products ship from various promotional product warehouses and printing facilities located throughout the US.  Once you place an order, your promotional products or logo apparel will ship from one of these facilities.  For this reason, it is not always possible for customers to pick up their orders from our Denver office.


Artwork and Decoration


Providing Artwork: The best way to provide us with your artwork is to attach it to an email.


Acceptable File Formats:  Vector format is preferred.  Files ending in .ai or .eps are usually in vector format, and some PDF files may be acceptable as well.  If you do not have your logo or art file in vector format, RCP Denver can convert it for you in order to ensure top-quality printing on our promotional products and apparel.  This is called a Raster to Vector conversion and is free of charge with most logos.  If vector format is unavailable, please send the highest resolution image you have (usually the largest size file).


Logo Size and Modifications:  Depending on the decoration method, product size or material we will be decorating, we may have to omit or modify parts of your logo in order to ensure quality printing and legibility.  We will always discuss this with you beforehand and provide a complimentary art proof for your approval.


PMS Color Matches:  We have a variety of standard ink colors available for printing on promotional products.  Printing using a standard ink color is normally included in the price of the product.  If you would like to use your exact PMS color(s), we can do that as well.  This may require a PMS color match charge, which will vary depending on the promotional product.


Payment, Shipping & Delivery


Shipping Transit Times:  The "In-Hands" date on your order is calculated using published transit times for UPS and FedEx.  While both carriers have excellent track records with adhering to published transit times, adverse weather conditions and other unexpected events may affect your delivery date.  In the event that unforeseen circumstances during transit delay your delivery date, we are unable to issue refunds.


Order Cancellations: Once all approvals have been received, your order will proceed to production.  Once production has begun, it will not be possible to cancel your order.  If your order has not yet entered the production phase, you may be able to cancel your order.  The cancellation fee, if any, will vary depending on the nature of your order and how far your order has progressed.


Overruns/Underruns: An overrun or underrun of up to 5% is considered normal on all promotional products and branded apparel, and will be invoiced accordingly.  Paper products (such as folders, business cards, stickers, brochures and other such collateral) can have an overrun or underrun of up to 10%.


Returns:  Since promotional products and logo apparel are permanently decorated with your logo, we can only accept returns or exchanges if there is a manufacturing defect with the product, or if there is a problem with the decoration itself.  We have a strict quality control process to eliminate mistakes and ensure your order is accurate, and an excellent track record in this regard.  If there is a mistake on our behalf, we will make it right.
